Curious. Resourceful…Hungry (literally and metaphorically— I love food, and I’m driven)

And a little bit sassy ready to help with your design needs.

  • I joined an early startup in the B2B/B2Government SaaS industry in a Jack of All Trades role that was primarily product design focused. During my contract, I…

    • Led UX Research to inform platform design, customer success, and marketing efforts

    • Designed custom enterprise partner platforms from data collection, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and presenting to enterprise stakeholders

    • Developed enterprise-level onboarding processes and materials based on UX Research

    • Designed new product features based on UX Research, closing the gap between our platform and our competitors’ resulting in increased user satisfaction

    • Collaborated with the development team to ensure the successful launch of new and redesigned product features

    • Led sales demos resulting in a 54.5% booking rate of follow-up meetings

  • As a Marketing Project Manager for Scholastic:

    • Conducted A/B test to collect data on customer behavior and preferences, informing email campaign messaging, designs, and deployments

    • Built a high-fidelity prototype in Figma for a product marketing landing page

    • Created a social media bank (graphics and copy) to drive customer engagement

    • Coordinated email marketing across multiple teams and products including from start to completion

  • I have 9 years of experience in the classroom, from 1st grade up to 12th, teaching both English and science at the secondary level.

My ability to build rapport with my students and study their needs led to efficient systems and increased learning, evidenced by student engagement and above-average test scores (well above average, but I’m not here to brag…).

I also had other big tasks as well:

    • Designed a digital notebook for biology classes that improved student organization, resulting in increased assignment completion and district and state test scores

    • Designed and produced the school yearbook, conducting A/B tests on designs and messaging to increase revenue by 191% and units sold by 119%

    • Served on multiple leadership and advisory committees, collecting feedback from colleagues and creating new district-wide policies and programs.

  • Through customer and market research, I identified a key problem in the luxury desserts market— customers that wanted luxury cakes had to pay tons of money for fondant, yet nobody actually wanted to eat it. So I created a solution. Gorgeous cakes, no fondant. Just buttercream and ganache— things people actually want to eat.

Through social media marketing and customer research, I communicated my solution, built a brand, and earned one of the largest local followings for a bakery. In my second year, sales increased by 299.5%, earning my tiny, part-time, one-person, side hustle over $18,000.

  • I completed my bachelors in psychology with a focus on research methods, experimental design, and behavior. I volunteered in research labs, and even worked as a research coordinator for a National Institute of Health study after graduating. I would be ‘psyched’ to do research. Seriously though. I would be.

  • Lots of experience in behavior, research, and design. It matters to me. If it matters to you too, I’d say we’re a good match.
